The Friendship Square of Segal Park in Addis Ababa, the capital of Ethiopia, this green development project, is an important component that our country aid to Ethiopia's river bank. The first phase of the project covers an area of 32 hectares and was constructed by CCCC No.1 Group. The construction started on October 1, 2019, and was officially unveiled to the public on September 10, 2020 when Ethiopia held its New Year celebrations, and it becoming a new landmark in the Ethiopian capital. In this project, the outdoor bamboo floors laid in a large area, including the bamboo gallery in the art garden, the outdoor bamboo tables and chairs in the artificial lake are all from Taohuajiang bamboo products in Hunan Province. The green and sustainable characteristics of bamboo convey the concept of symbiosis with nature and environmental protection. The project also won the ENR Award for Best Project in the Global Environment Category and the 2020 "International Engineering Green Supply Chain Management Leading Project".
